This Saturday my good friend hosted a Great Gatsby themed party, costume only. We had such a great time and I loved seeing everyone all dressed up! I thought it would be fun to share these pictures with you and the dress I wore. (Although, I’m going to pre apologize now for the picture quality…. we meant to take pictures before the party but time got away from us. It was hard getting decent lighting & location inside.)
The dress I’m wearing is probably one of my favorite items in my closet and these photos do not even do it justice. I purchased it about 3 years ago at Buffalo Exchange, a vintage/thrift store in Phoenix, Arizona. (They actually have locations in 17 states.) I knew as soon as I saw the dress that I HAD to have it. It is absolutely stunning and I ended up getting it for just $15! This poor dress has been sitting in my closet since July 2010 so I finally broke it out for this party. Hope you enjoy!
