style series day 2: I’m not even sure if this sweater is stylish

Bad news – I just read an article the other day that mentioned how cowl necks were out of style…meaning I am totally uncool now for wearing this cowl neck sweater. But guess what – it was 12 degrees when I took these photos, so I’m counting this as a built in scarf. I actually wore this outfit almost a month ago for a girls night but never photographed it. When its as cold as it is you have to wear big sweaters to the bar. I did my best to dress it up with statement earrings & heels.

I picked up this skirt & sweater at Gap the same day without intending to pair them together, but to be efficient in the dressing room I tried them on together and really liked it. So here they are, a big cozy sweater & striped skirt.
