Today I’m linking up with Meagan & other lovely ladies to show my take on the monochromatic look. I really wanted to do a color, but I had all these gray pieces already! (and I’ve been shopping WAY too much lately). I’m actually really liking monochromatic outfits right now – one of my favs is here. (If I was able to I would buy that outfit immediately). How do you guys feel about monochromatic outfits?
I’m currently in Colorado & skiing at Copper Mountain so I figured I would share a few of my skiing highlights (if anyone cares):
DAYS 1 & 2:
- I ate it. My first wipeout in probably 5 years. And it was glorious. One second I was moving down the hill…the next I was flat on my stomach. I think I hit an icy divot & sadly no one caught it on video.
- A guy with trick skis was dressed in a FULL SUIT & skiing down the mountain. Awesome.
- A paraplegic was using a uniski (here) & was moving way faster than me down the hill. Super inspiring & puts it all in perspective.
- No altitude sickness = bonus!
- Saw 2 blind skiers with their guides. They use headsets to help guide them down the hill – again so amazing
- Sunshine in the mountains can’t be beat

Love the look! I’m also very jealous of your getaway! I’ve always wanted to downhill ski!! I’m much too chicken to even try even though there’s a few hills only an hour away!

I love what you pulled together! I think my faves are the jacket and the sneakers! I’ve been on a sneaker kick lately!! Also, the one and only time I went skiing I ran into a tree to stop myself! Haha! Thanks for linking up with us!
