Clearly this photos were not taken in West Michigan because a.) its sunny and b.) I wasn’t freezing. While hanging out in DC on Thursday we snapped a few blog pics, and yes all of these pieces are part of the 30×30 Challenge. This is technically Day 5 – sorry I’m a bit slow moving – we were super busy in DC. While riding the Metro on Thursday a young girl (maybe 7) came up and told me how much she loved my shoes. It was so sweet of her and I could tell she was a little embarassed coming up to me, but then I realized that maybe I am way too old for sparkle Keds. Any thoughts guys? Nevertheless, they were comfy for a day of walking & I love the bright combo of my new trench & turquoise Kate Spade bag. Hope you all have a great day!

PS. I found this trench at Sears…thats right, SEARS. I was impressed.

I saw this trench at Sears. I passed out up only because I have a similar style in a raincoat. You look lovely!! Hope you had fun in DC.

You are NEVER to old for sparkly Keds in my opinion. I love them too (and have quiiiite a few years on that seven year old). 😉
