this puts the “mini” in minidress (& how I learned not to ride bikes in dresses)

Can the washing machine shrink clothes? I wore this about a month ago and do not remember it being this (booty hanging out) short. And I feel like I would’ve remembered…at least I hope. Anyways, I hung this to dry after I washed it so I’m quite confused how it became so small. Looks like I’ll have to retire it to a beach cover up! (which is sad, because its cute & comfy!) But I really just can’t wear dresses this short; a big gust of wind could totally embarrass me.

Sidenote: that actually happened. I made the poor choice of wearing this dress (when it was longer) while riding rental bikes around Chicago…the Windy City…I’m pretty sure about 458439630 people saw my underwear. Thank goodness I was: wearing underwear (duh!), wearing huge sunglasses & will probably never see them again.

Lesson learned – do not wear dresses while riding bikes – especially when it is windy.

Thats all I’ve got today, have any of you ever attempted the dress wearing/bike riding? If so, how did it go for you?
