splurge vs save [lemon style] – because who doesn’t want to wear more fruit

I’m back with some more fruit print clothing today! While pineapples are getting their 15 minutes of fame, lemons seem to be in the spotlight as well. Kate Spade came out with a collection of lemon print items including a skirt, dress, top, handbag, tennis shoes, etc. I’ve seen lemon print tops at Ann Taylor, and dresses and skirts at Banana Republic. Not going to lie – lemons are totally cuter than pineapples. (sorry!) They also seem slightly more mature (if thats even possible)

My favorite thus far is probably the lemon print skirt! Its fun & flirty for summer, but also long enough to wear to work. Bonus!

The Kate Spade skirt retails for $348, while the Banana Republic Skirt retails for $79.50. But we all know that Banana will have some 40% off promotion within the next 10 days…so wait for that.

I hopped on the bandwagon because the Gap discount also applies to Banana; what a beautiful thing. This skirt is very comfy, has a flattering waistband, pockets and is fully lined! I would highly recommend.
