its a pineapple party! (style series day 3)

After my first unsuccessful pineapple shirt purchase I decided to purchase the button down (that everyone has) from Target. It was on sale & I figured I could wear it into the fall & maybe even winter because it has sleeves. Although it is lightweight enough to wear now without having a heat stroke. Bonus.

I wore this outfit to a party 2 weeks ago. Since a button down with rolled up sleeves has a more masculine feel, I decided to pair mine with a circle skirt & tie it to make it more feminine. I got a few compliments from guys health pharmacy online that included “hey, are those pineapples? cool shirt” and “whoa, pineapple shirt, nice.” Boys – they have such a way with words, right?

What do you guys think, have you snagged a pineapple piece yet?

PS. I bought this skirt from H&M in the fall and have worn it so many times I’ve lost track. It can easily transition from season to season with tights,etc. I would highly recommend purchasing one if you like to wear skirts!
