I’m backkkk! Sorry about the long absence, but with the lack of wifi (and 3G/4G) I wasn’t able to post anything for you guys this weekend. But I’m sure you all had a great weekend & didn’t miss me much 🙂 I got back yesterday morning from Electric Forest & headed straight into work (after a much needed shower). My forest experience was amazing & I’m so happy I went, although it is definitely a place to people watch. Whew.
Let me preface this by saying – I am NOT a camping person. I didn’t even camp for the first time until I was 20 years old because my mother’s idea of camping is a bed & breakfast (smart woman). This sleeping outdoors thing is new to me, and this is the 3rd time I’ve done it. While I love being outside & doing activities, I am not the biggest fan of camping. A few things I learned from 4 days of camping…
1. My max camping capacity is 3.5 -4 days.
2. Porta potties are my enemy
3. If you leave your gummy worms & adult gummy vitamins in a hot car they will melt into one jiggly puddle
4. The ground is not that uncomfortable
5. Don’t take showers for granted
6. Bring earplugs!
7. Wear tennis shoes to keep your toes clean!
8. Everyone smells – get over it
I’m sure there are plenty more things I learned, but these 8 will have to suffice for now. Clearly these photos were taken pre-camping, because there was no way I looked that pulled together the entire festival! Quickly – dresses & skirts are an easy way to incorporate leather into your summer wardrobe. Pair them with bright colors & white to contrast the black!

My husband and I went camping together a few years ago and we were so unprepared and it was awful. We went with a few friends and apparently one of them was a LOUD snorer… AND we also found out that our tent must have had a hole in it because we were soaked and FREEZING. lol Not our best getaway to say the least
hahah omg camping is something I had to get use to ever since I started dating Clint (my boyfriend). He loves to camp so we do it a couple times a year. I feel exactly the same way you do!
I love your outfit! I love leather but sometimes during summer it gets too hot. But either way I wear short skirts and in my latest post I am wearing a leather tank.
