I wore this outfit last Thursday when my mom was here. We walked around ArtPrize to see the top 20 exhibits then split fajitas for lunch. Yum! Apparently while we were walking through the Grand Rapids Art Museum, a not very well dressed woman made a snarky comments about my pants to her friend. My mom overheard her say something along the lines of “oh, looks like I forgot to wear my sequin stretch pants today” followed up with a rude look and laugh.
When my mom told me what she had said I was slightly offended. Are my pants really bothering you ma’am? Is it that big of a deal? Generally I don’t really care what people think of my outfits, but I felt like the comment was unnecessary. I decided to keep my rude comebacks to myself (good choice Maddy) and as my mom + I headed out I received a compliment on my pants from a different woman. (which made me feel better haha). Moral of the story – always wear the sequin pants!

Sadly the gold ones were from Nordstrom last year, but the brand is Wayf if you can find them anywhere. And we can FB or email about the scroll bar!
