Just as a point of reference…Monday’s photo was taken less than a week ago. And now we have more than a foot of snow! It started snowing on Saturday and hasn’t really stopped yet. As I mentioned yesterday, we actually had a snow day for all of GVSU. (Not mad about it at all). After we shoveled the driveway, sidewalk, steps + porch, we ventured out to take some blog photos. While it was pretty cold, it was definitely a pretty background to have. This snow came WAY too early in my opinion, and for some buy pills reason the forecast says 45 degrees + rainy this weekend…we’ll see how that goes.
But, more importantly..the outfit. I LOVE IT. everything about it. I’m loving menswear inspired pieces, especially my huge watch + the tuxedo vest. Throw in some flannel for comfort, faux leather for sass and some pops of color…I’m sold.
Stay warm my friends!

When I saw Michigan in the title, I had to stop by. I can’t believe it snowed that much in your area! I’m in the metro Detroit area and we definitely didn’t have as much. Love the cobalt blue in this outfit and great booties! I guess we shouldn’t be surprised with the weather given last winter. Stay warm! ~Cynthia | http://www.myrosecoloredshades.com
It’s amazing how there can be barely any snow in Detroit and a ton in Grand Rapids! Thanks for stopping by
Adorable look. I’m OBSESSED with those shoes 🙂

Thanks girl!
I love your shoes…as usual! What I would give to fly out there and shop in your closet! Haha. I know what you mean about the snow. I’m now thankful for a day where we aren’t in the minus degrees! …and to think that two months ago it was so warm. Crazy.

Hey! This outfit is really cute! You do know this outfit (and you) were mentioned on Lauren Conrad’s blog right?? You don’t mention it anywhere, so I just wanted to make sure. That is a huge accomplishment and you should highlight it!
Sara I had no idea! I’ve been so focused on family + the holidays I haven’t really blogged or checked any media. Thank you SO much for sharing!
