You know those days when something happens that solidifies your goals? that was me the last time I wore this outfit. A few weekends ago when I headed home to Ohio, I stopped in Ann Arbor to have dinner with a friend of mine. As Maria and I were walking to dinner, a few girls stopped me and asked if they could take my photo for a street style magazine because they loved my outfit. My initial thought was, “thank goodness I put makeup on at those red lights,” but then, after posing for them (haha!), it made me excited…almost like “yes, you have good enough style to run this fashion blog.”
As I’ve mentioned before in posts I really want to take this very very small business of mine and turn it into a small business. I’m proud of it (and sometimes embarrassed), but its really cool to have something that you completely created and have people like it. I’m excited to finally be done with undergrad, so all the time that goes into homework + class can be put towards Cassidy Lou. Although it may be hard for some to believe, there is actually A LOT of work that goes into running a successful fashion blog; as least my definition of successful. I’m excited for what 2015 holds… so stay with me 🙂
Have a great Thursday!

Wow, congrats, I can’t imagine how incredible you must have been feeling!
And yes, I totally understand the amount of time that goes into a fashion blog is more than people think…because I do the same thing.
The good thing is that if you put the time and effort in, it WILL be worth it 🙂
