Remember last week’s photos with 20+ inches on snow that were taken on a SNOW DAY?! Oh yeah, well since Friday it has been 45+ degrees so all 28.6 inches of snow Grand Rapids received has either a.) melted or b.) turned into horribly gross black mush on the road. So beautiful. Although the view is definitely not as pretty without the snow, I am very happy it has stopped. (Mainly because the snow boots I ordered haven’t come in yet…I’m a little behind).
Sidenote: Grand Rapids received 28.6 inches of snow, which was the most we’ve received since 1895…but hey, at least I don’t buy valium online live in Buffalo, right?
It was so nice taking these photos without having to wear tights or freeze my booty off! I know its November, and this yellow skirt is probably better suited for the summer, but I snagged it at The Limited the other day for $14 and was too excited not to wear it. I plan on mainly wearing it to work, but it was a great color to brighten up a dreary day.
Have a great Monday..its supposed to start snowing again tonight…

thank you! glad you stopped by as well 🙂
It was really warm here today too–I seized the opportunity for bare legs as well! I am very much in love with that yellow skirt. It looks great with your floral top!
Thank you! Gotta bring some color to the dreary weather!
WOW and I thought our weather fluctuated a lot over the last few days! I can’t do the bare legs right now, but I’ve still thought the change in weather is a bit nuts.
Totally envious you were able to put an outfit like this together. I love the pop of yellow!

Something About That
Haha thanks! Don’t worry- it’s not sleeting so the warmth didn’t last long
I love these vibrant colors on you! Very well put together feminine look.

Thank you!
I totally know how you feel! I mean, we didn’t have any snow or anything, but it was in the mid 40s, and now it is in the 70s. I can’t keep up. I love the bright skirt for the fall/ winter. Wearing bright colors makes me feel better about it being cold!

Yes the bright colors definitely help!
I don’t blame you one bit for wanting to wear that cheery skirt after receiving 28.6 inches of snow. Yikes! It’s such a happy color and I love it with the water color top.
