Fringe isn’t just for Halloween
Banana Republic has had some awesome pieces lately, all due to new creative director Marissa Webb. I love what she is doing with the brand.
Part of my style goal for 2015 is to find unique pieces that can still be remixed, and this skirt is the perfect example of that. Because it is black, it is easy to pair with an endless amount of blouses, but, because its fringe, it adds a whole other dimension to the skirt. I scooped it up on super sale, and Banana Republic is still currently running an extra 50% off sale (get the skirt while you can!) Since it is unfortunately buy drugs no prescription tights weather in Michigan, and will be until at least the end of April, I decided to spice up my ensemble with my favorite leopard clutch + bright pink heels. I think the best part about the skirt is all the fringe shaking while you walk. I’ll admit that it does shed just a tiny bit, but is extremely comfortable + worth the super sale price.
I wore this to work last week, tell me, would you wear fringe to work?

I love the fringed skirt! I think it’s versatile because it’s black, but still “different.”

Sure, I would wear it to work. Especially the way you wore it, paired with a smart blouse, wouldn’t work with a plunging neckline type blouse. Very cute.
Yeah, no plunging necklines for me at work.. or really ever haha
