Over the knee socks: stripper? schoolgirl? or totally wearable?
In my opinion, pants are severely overrated. I would much rather be in a skirt or a dress. But, when its 19 degrees outside, that skirt requires tights, and I find myself stuck in tights almost every single day. This weekend we had a heat wave of 36 degrees, so I took advantage of the “warmth” and opted for (fleece-lined) over the knee socks. Actually I’m not sure if they were supposed to go over my knee, but I’m short and they’re online pharmacy degree stretchy. So what do we think? Are these acceptable to wear? Or do I look like I’m headed to 5th grade in my uniform?

i love a good pair of over-the-knee socks, especially when they don’t fall down every few seconds! i tend to prefer them with a more a-line/skater skirt or fit and flare dress. maybe try them with your pleather skirt and buffalo plaid top!

19 degrees?! Major props for not being in a snow suit! I love over-the-knee socks but typically wear them layered over tights. I love how you paired yours with leopard booties and I have to say that the title of this post is awesome, haha

I like the idea of the socks over tights, I’ll have to try it on one of our FREEZING days! haha – I figured stripper would get people’s attention!
I think knee-high socks are suitable for adult fashion as long as they’re dark color and go with proper skirt!
That’s what I was thinking…I don’t plan on rocking at neon fishnets haha
Sorry but I’m really not feeling it!! I think the high socks are really cute for tweens.. maybe a cute waitress uniform.. and def not with those booties!! I love the boot socks- there’s sooo many cute different styles now, so u can wear higher boots with a skirt.
honestly.. not trying to be mean, but your whole outfit is a disaster. Maybe you just have a unique style which is fine.. but u prob got some weird looks. I would just stick with tights or leggings for now!
