how to: rock ankle boots!

I’ve had a few people tell me they aren’t exactly sure what do with ankle boots, so I figured I would do another “how-to!” Generally I cuff my jeans/pants so there is skin showing between the end of the boot and the beginning of the pant. I’m not exactly sure how this started, but its my go-to way to wear them. If the pant is already cropped (like the pink ones below) then I leave it as is. For skirts and dresses, I either go with tights (if its freezing), over the knee socks (if its just cold) or no show running socks (if its warm). I’m one of those weird people that HAS to wear socks (all year round, especially when sleeping), so no socks isn’t really an option for me. If I’m wearing leggings, I’ll have them sort of tucked into the boot, so the look is more streamlined. What do you think? Are you an ankle boot fan? Hopefully these help you!
