I read something on Twitter the other day that said top knots (aka high buns) are out, and that low buns are in. Luckily I wear both top knots and low buns about equally so I’m going to continue doing my thing. I figure I’ll always be 50% in style, right?
A few things about this outfit:
1.) I accidentally shrunk this skirt, mainly because I don’t like laundry so I dry everything on really low heat (literally everything). I also don’t separate colors…I’m actually the worst.
2.) If you look closely you can see my super cute new thumb ring (I’m digging it!)
3.) I can’t decide if I should’ve gone with my navy Kate Spade instead of the orange one…thoughts?

*unfortunately a lot of these pieces are older, but I’ve linked similar items!

Hahaha yesss. My lips are sealed!
I love the look of top knots, but they can totally go because no matter what, I can’t rock one, haha. You, however, look adorable in them!
Well thank you, maybe your hair is just too thick? It looks so gorgeous down though!
Love your shoes…. and your top knot!!

Thank you Rachael!
I think the orange was good choice. Perfect to brighten up your day, and think Spring.
And you’re not alone on the laundry front- I HATE IT. I wish the dryer would magically fold the clothes too!

Haha wouldn’t that be nice? I don’t mind the folding that much though!
The orange shirt with the navy is fantastic; orange and blue are complimentary colors, so they will always look good together. Is the skirt velvet? It almost looks like it …
I do love the colors together, and no, the skirt isn’t velvet! Wouldn’t that be cool?
Top knots are out?! No! Well.. I’m okay with low buns, I wear those as well, but there’s just something so fun about tossing your hair up into a top knot. Maybe I won’t wear it as much, but I’m definitely not kicking it all the way to the curb.
Loving the colors in today’s post! Super cute look.
Thats how I feel. I’ll just alternate buns haha!
NO NO NO top knots are never out, I don’t care what anyone says! I love them, and will rock them forever. I also love those shoes!

I’m with you, there will always be a bun on top of my head 🙂 xo
I have to say I’ve never worn a top knot…they just fail completely with my hair. But they look great on other people, and seem like a classic look to me! Love the outfit–I think the orange bag is perfect
nobody does it better….
brave and adorable 😉
How interesting.. Nobody Says something about your bare legs in Cold Winter Snow…
you seem to be very brave..no goosebump even in the cold snow – as you would be used to go bare legs all over the year..
I like to give hot kisses to your cold legs..
und nach all den jahren sieht das immer noch supergeil aus…danke dafür…take care
