If you’ve been following along then you know I chaperoned my sister’s prom this past weekend. She looked amazing in this stunning Rent the Runway gown (there’s a photo on my Instagram!) and I opted for a more playful dress that I can wear for my birthday, weddings, and other events this summer. Anyways, here are 5 things I learned from going back to prom:
1.) things that you think matter in high school (aka PROM) really don’t matter at all [but don’t try to explain that to any 17-18 year old girl there]
2.) going back to prom makes you feel OLD
3.) there are a ton of 17 year old girls who look way older than me
4.) becoming an adult takes a toll on your body…I could eat whatever in high school & weighed 10lbs less!
5.) I wouldn’t go back

Absolutely love your outfit! I don’t think I would ever want to go back to prom – if only to wear my dress again! Also, why do these high schools look so old?! What happened to the awkward phase?!
