Happy Monday everyone – today I am sharing a few more pictures from Alie & I’s adventure across the US. After Phoenix we hit Albuquerque, Santa Fe, Amarillo, Tulsa, St. Louis and Indianapolis before making it back to Ohio. We had my favorite chicken tacos of the trip (below) in Albuquerque, and went to Sandia Peak (10,378ft!), which gave us an amazing view of New Mexico. See photos from our tram ride up & exploration below…
We spent an evening and a day in Santa Fe, and explored the downtown and the farmers market (and got hit on by some locals!)
We stopped in Amarillo so we could hike Palo Duro Canyon, which is the second largest canyon in the US (so I’ve been told). We did 8 miles worth of trails & it was awesome to go down into the canyon. We luckily buy medications online arrived the day after the flash floods, so the canyon was full of life!
We were in Tulsa long enough to sleep then take this photo…the city was quieter than expected due to flash floods & the holiday weekend.
The last city we slept in was St. Louis and we loved it! We stayed at the Moonrise Hotel, which had a light up staircase, creative artwork, funny signs, an amazing rooftop bar with large rotating moon. They also had the cutest toilet paper wrapping…not even kidding!
Of course we had to go see the arch & walk around the city before we started our trek back to Ohio.
From May 16 – May 26 we were on 3 planes, in 9 states, in 12(ish) cities and put 2,200 miles on our rental car! It was an amazing experience and I’m so happy that we could do it!

Wow, you have some incredible photos!! Isn’t the west coast SO different??
I can’t even imagine how much more breathtaking those sites were in real life.
