5 ways to stretch your shopping budget!

I generally try to work within a monthly budget while shopping, but admittedly there are times when I get out of hand. Running a fashion blog is difficult because I often get so caught up in looking at other blogs and outfits that I want to buy EVERYTHING. And I already have way more than I need. Anyways, I digress.

If you’re working with a budget, I have 5 great tips/resources for you to get the most for your money 🙂

• Use the 80/20 Wardrobe Solution
  1. 80% of your shopping budget goes towards carefully planned items to fill gaps
  2. 20% of your budget is saved for impulse purchases, unexpected sales, etc
• Use Groupon Coupons
  1. Instead of regular Groupon, where you pay for discounted items and services, Groupon Coupons is home to over 75,ooo free coupons! They have both promo codes & printable coupons.
• Get cash back with eBates
  1. Make cash back on purchases. Boom!

• Open a store credit card
  1. I have a Gap credit card (which is also Old Navy and Banana Republic) that earns me rewards all the time. If you shop at a store or family of stores, it may be worth your while to open a credit card
• Swap with friends/sisters/roommates,etc!
  • My sisters & I trades items all the time. If you don’t have sisters, see if your friends or roommates want to have a little closet swap
