These photos are actually a month old now, but I wore this dress on our first day in Chicago. We snapped a few photos on our walk up to the Shedd Aquarium; it was SO beautiful that day. Lake Michigan is my favorite, so I was happy to be along the water 🙂 It was crazy hot outside, and I wanted to be cool & comfy because I knew it would be a full day. My friend Lizzie got me hooked on this swing dress from Target, so hooked that I own it in gray as well. They are a little short for my liking, but they are unbelievably comfortable & can work as a swim cover up. (I wore Nike Pro spandex underneath it the whole day because we were in the Windy City!) This dress comes in a light blue as well, and I can see it transitioning nicely into a tunic (if you’re not into short dresses!). I’m thinking about wearing it with a leather jacket, leggings/jeans & some ankle boots for fall, so maybe you’ll be seeing this dress again soon.
Have a great day!
