This past Saturday my roommate, her sister, my sister, her friend and I headed to Detroit for 1D in the D. Aka the One Direction concert at Ford Field. Let’s be real – I am definitely a One Direction fan…their songs are catchy and they are pretty attractive. That being said, I was no way prepared for the thousands of screaming pre-teens. Luckily the music was so loud I could tune then out & just dance 🙂 So, here we go, 5 things I experienced at 1D:
1.) a dad using binoculars. Yes, binoculars
2.) a girl sobbing as soon as One Direction came on stage
3.) a married couple celebrating their honeymoon
4.) three moms taking a selfie
5.) the sound that only comes from 30,000+ screaming girls
Overall I loved the concert, and would probably see them again. Anyone who has seen One Direction, what did you think?
PS. we actually made our t-shirts with men’s Hanes & iron-on photo paper (one of the easiest things every!)

Ha your shirts are so funny! They were at a stadium in Chicago near my house a couple weeks ago and it was definitely the loudest my neighborhood has ever been.
