some days I’m crabby

hello everyone. greetings from the tundra, aka. West Michigan. I recently had the opportunity to work with CaseApp, a Swedish company who does custom phone cases. It was perfect timing, because I had been eyeing the cutest crab phone case from Etsy (here) but it had just sold out. I’m not one to change my phone cases often; usually I purchase one or two and use them until I upgrade to my next phone.

Working with CaseApp gave me the opportunity to create my own crab case. I was able to find almost the exact same graphic off Etsy and purchased it from TraceyGurleyDesigns – from there I uploaded it to CaseApp (super simple), rotated it, and found a background color to match some of the crab’s spots. I liked being able to size my graphic, and change the background color multiple times before deciding. You are able to add text as well, but I chose to let the crab steal the show. CaseApp offers more than just phone cases…you can even design your own skin for you MacBook (next on my list!)

I showed my mom the case, and she liked it since both our astrological signs are Cancer (which I didn’t even think about). I think that’s why I was originally drawn to the crab. CaseApp was kind enough to offer 20% to all Cassidy Lou readers if you want to design your own case. But hurry, it expires one week from today 🙂
