dreaming of summer days

I wore this outfit to work a few weeks ago, when we were having a glimmer of hope that spring weather would arrive. We were lucky enough to have beautiful weather on Easter yesterday, but I still wouldn’t mind if the temps warmed up a bit more! I’ve been slowly incorporating spring & summer pieces (as the weather cooperates) because I’m getting sick of pants and boots. Dresses and skirts without tights are my FAVORITE, so fingers crossed spring shows it pretty face in Michigan (and stays!)

One of my favorite ways to show my wilder cheap pills side is through my footwear. I love finding colorful, unique and playful shoes because they have the ability make even the simplest jeans and t-shirt ensemble look awesome. I’ve noticed that my style revolves around a few things; solid colors, black & white stripes, polka dots and florals. I find these patterns are the most versatile, and easiest to mix.
