If you haven’t heard yet, there are some big changes happening in my life. I have accepted a new position in Southern California and I’m moving in about a week! Overwhelming, yes; exciting, absolutely. With all of this happening (this last month and half has been crazy to say the least), I’m starting to get really nostalgic about leaving Grand Rapids. Yes, oftentimes I am cursing the snow and ice, but Michigan is so unbelievably beautiful, especially from May-October. I am a bit sad I have to leave on the cusp of the best season ever, but luckily I’m moving to a place with gorgeous weather year round.
With that being said, I wanted to rep my Michigan pride on the West Coast (because it truly feels more like home than Ohio), so I starting searching for an awesome tee. It actually amazes me how many Michigan residents love their state and how much pride there is, so I knew I would have no shortage of t-shirt options.
I ended up finding this one at a local Grand Rapids company, The Oddest Supply Co, and loved it right away. (Not to mention it is the softest tee ever!) I can definitely see it styled with a leather jacket & distressed jeans, a little black skirt, and even thrown over my bikini at the beach.
If any of you have some serious Michigan pride, I would highly recommend checking out The Oddest Supply Co (and no, they didn’t pay me to say this). For any local people – they have a shop in the Downtown Market.
I’ve decided to bring the blog back (as you can tell) and am excited to begin chronicling the next stage of my life in Southern California.
I hope you all have a wonderful weekend & thanks for following.
