Confession time: when I’m bored or lonely I shop. It can be for anything; clothes, food, workout clothes, home goods, etc. It’s not a great coping mechanism, but its also better than binge eating/drinking, so I’ll deal.
I had to live alone for a few weeks in the beginning of June because both the boys were traveling for work. And since I haven’t been out here long enough to actually make friends, I was both bored & lonely. Hence how I ended up wandering the aisles of Target (and doing WAY too much online shopping).
While perusing, I saw this chambray sleeveless trench and knew it was coming home with me. I love how lightweight it is, and how it adds another dimension to an otherwise simple outfit (knit dress & sandals). It can be thrown over almost any outfit… think white jeans & a cute tee, some shorts & a tank, summer sundresses, a casual skirt…your options are endless.
If you’re not down with the chambray it also comes in olive green – a great color to transition into fall (but we’re not going there yet).
