when your Monday is a Tuesday

good morning!

I’m back to reality after a long weekend with my sister. She flew out here to celebrate her (17th) birthday and we spent the last 5 days moving & grooving. We managed to see my cousins who were in town, spend a day at Disneyland, shop, kayak, head to LA to explore, swim with an inflatable swan, go to the beach & more. If it sounds like a lot, it was. She also helped snap some blog pictures for me so I can keep sharing outfits with you all.  Thanks Gretchen!

So, with all that fun, today is actually my Monday. And when your Monday is a Tuesday, life is good. There have been crazy amounts of fall style blog posts in the fashion blogging world because of the Nordstrom Anniversary sale – ending this Sunday – but its still HOT in Cali, and I find myself gravitating toward all the bright colors lately. (PS. I have this swing dress from Old Navy in two colors & it is crazy comfy…and on sale!)

I’m quite curious to see what “fall” is like here. Fall in Michigan is dreamy – cooler temps, the most beautiful color changing trees, apple cider, etc. I’m worried it will still be too hot for all my cute jackets…hopefully not!
