Don’t worry, I do know how the actual joke goes, but it worked better with my outfit this way.
I went to Disney for the first time last month (yes, I’m 24) while my sister was in town and there were two things I wanted: Minnie Mouse ears and a Mickey shaped cake pop…I got both.
It was HOT that day so I knew I wanted to wear minimal clothing that didn’t show how badly I was sweating (TMI? Sorry), while also matching my ears. (#priorities) Luckily, I had some black, white & red in my closet, and this ended up being comfortable for all day while allowing me not to have a heat stroke.
My tank top & white denim shorts are both under $20 Target snags (win!) that I’ve been wearing a lot. Surprisingly happy with the shorts – highly recommend!
As far as Disney goes I was slightly underwhelmed (especially for what I paid for the 2 of us to get in). I grew up going to Cedar Point so I expected roller coasters, not rides. I am extremely claustrophobic and almost lost my mind on the Star Wars indoor ride (it was pitch black the entire time). If you want a good laugh – here is a crappy photo from Snapchat of me using deep breathing techniques to get through.
Necessary? Absolutely.
Gretchen and I still had a fun day checking everything out and riding all the rides we could (even if I was freaking out the whole time). I’ve heard that Disneyworld is better than Disneyland, so I may be willing to give that a shot if anyone wants to buy my ticket 😉
Have a great weekend!
x0, Maddy
