Like everyone most everyone else, I’m excited for fall…except this year I won’t get to experience fall like I’m used to. Fall in the Michigan is a dream my friends; the most gorgeous changing trees, amazing temperatures, all the cider and donuts your heart (and stomach) could desire. Makes me smile just thinking about it. (If you’re in the Grand Rapids area and have not yet tried the donuts at Robinette’s – you haven’t lived. They are also the sweetest people…visit HERE.)
I’m not exactly sure how fall in Southern California works?
I’m assuming I’ll just need a jacket and some darker nail polish to get me through, hence why I don’t feel bad about snagging another bikini top (for $9.99) from Victoria’s Secret on Friday. I have never owned as many fun (not swimteam) swimsuits as I do right now. But, for the record, it’s only 6…I’m not insane with 20 or anything.
Back on track.
This romper – she is definitely a winner. And NOT DRY CLEAN. (We all remember what happened to the last purple floral romper HERE).
I love when the temperature is ideal for long sleeves & shorts so much (I even wrote about it HERE), so having a romper with sleeves is ideal! And as I said on Instagram, the fit is of the romper is great (read: not tight). I’m wearing an XS, my usually size at Old Navy. The shorts don’t ride up or squeeze your thighs, the drawstring waist is great for large meals, and the neckline isn’t too low.
Also – it’s $30.65 right now. (HERE!)
I’m done blabbering for now – check back on Wednesday – I have a few good things planned for the rest of the week 🙂

Love that romper! I have last year’s version of it in a gray print that I love! Totally perfect for this awkward time between fall and summer.
thanks Jenn! yeah I love it too- lightweight enough for now but could definitely add a jacket later!
This looks amazing on you – and I went to look it up at Old Navy.com and I must say, you should be their advertisement. It looks completely BLAH online! Something I would never consider buying, but you sell it well!
I miss you, Maddy! I know you have lots of people to see when you head “home” to the midwest, but if you ever find you have a spare moment, give me a call, I’d love to catch up!

you’re too sweet! thanks so much! The online photos definitely do not do the fit or the colors justice. I’ll get ahold of you so we can grab lunch over Thanksgiving!
