Do you ever discover products and wonder how you survived without them before?
That’s how I can describe my current feelings for my new iPhone case from jimmyCASE. Over the past few years I’ve noticed the increase in wallet/phone case combos, but wasn’t until jimmyCASE reached out to me that I even thought about trying one out. And now, I truly can’t go back.
You may think I’m being completely overdramatic, but I’ve only been using this new case one week and it’s already made my daily activities 20x easier.
For example, the gym we belong to uses a finger scan to check in, so no card is needed. But, I like to travel with at least a debit card and my ID on me (because I will for sure get pulled over the one day I drive without my license), so this case makes it super simple to stick those cards in my phone without worrying about bringing my whole wallet and hiding it in the car, or locking it in a locker. I carry my phone with me when I workout to record my reps and sets, so now everything is in one spot.
Weekend days are laundry days for me, and at our apartment complex there are multiple laundry buildings, with the closet being a 2-3 minute walk from our place. We have a key to unlock the laundry room, and the machines only take credit or debit cards. Because of this I would always have to throw on a crossbody purse to free my hands to carry the laundry basket, but this past Sunday I put my debit card in my phone, my phone & detergent on top of the laundry in the basket, and was able to start the laundry without finding my wallet and purse.
It has also been wonderful for my lunchtime walks during the work week. Since our office is across the street from an outlet mall (dangerous) I oftentimes will carry my wallet with me (just in case). But now I can simply carry one or two cards with me instead of the entire wallet. I can carry my blog business cards as well, and have been handing them out to anyone who compliments my outfit!
Lastly, my friend Katie and I joined a Saturday morning beach volleyball league that started this past weekend. I brought my Patagonia sling bag along, but you have to leave your belongings on the side of the courts. Knowing I only had my license and one card in there (hidden underneath a t-shirt in my phone case) made me feel better than having my full wallet sitting out on the beach when I couldn’t pay close attention to it. I’m not super worried about anything happening since this is an organized league, but it is nice that if something does I am only down one card and not my entire wallet. (But truly, no one in their right mind would steal my phone because the screen is severely cracked and has been since the first week of July…)
Both my friends Katie and Ryan have already complimented it, saying they want to purchase one. The cases are $39 (unless you choose to do a custom for $49), which seems very reasonable to me compared to all the other cases out there.
This case works really well with my on the go lifestyle so I would highly recommend if you’re in the market for a new phone case!
