Velvet is everywhere this fall and I’m loving it.
There are SO many pretty pieces but am trying to exhibit self control since velvet is a trendy item. Although, when I saw this dress at ASOS for under $40, I couldn’t resist (sadly it has sold out but I’m sharing more affordable velvet options below!). Along with being a gorgeous color, the wrap style is super flattering; highlighting the smallest part of your body. The neckline is a bit low, but you could easily layer a pretty cami or bralette underneath. Its perfect for any holiday party coming up.
I actually wore this dress to work a few weeks ago and my co-worker told me that I “looked just like Christmas.” So there you have it, even the engineers think its holiday appropriate.
One of the reasons I love these ZARA heels is the multicolored pom poms – the base of the shoe is neutral, but all the colored poms give you tons of options to mixing and matching pieces with them. For example, Monday I chose to highlight the green poms with the green pleated skirt, today I’m focused on the burgundy poms with the burgundy dress, and Friday I will be coordinating the gray and the burgundy.
Make sure to stop back Friday to see the final way I’ve styled these ZARA heels.
Thanks for reading, enjoy your Wednesday!
