I’m all about it. While many tend to save fun sequined items for special events or holidays, I like to wear them in my day to day life. Why not spice it up a bit?
While, I admit, there isn’t always a need for a sequined bodycon dress or a glitter skirt on a Tuesday, more subtle pieces can easily work their way into your everyday wardrobe.
For example, this ASOS sequined blazer. Because the sequins are black instead of your typical gold or silver, this blazer is much more subdued and easy to mix with your favorite pieces. The other week I wore it paired with high top Nikes, skinny jeans and a white tee (see it here). It doesn’t get much more casual than sneakers and jeans.
I’m keeping it short & sweet today due to some work deadlines, but make sure to stop back on Wednesday for a budget friendly DIY!

You totally nailed it with this look, once again!
I love the idea of a sequin blazer, but didn’t have the guts to wear it other than holiday season….until you featured it.
I’ll be purchasing it soon!
Thanks, Maddy!!!
Thanks so much Kay – I know you will rock it!
I love sequins just because too – honestly I think it’s so silly to buy a sparkly piece and only reserve it for holidays. I have a black sequin romper I love wearing in the summer! Love how you casualified (inventing words here haha) the glam with sneakers. Perfect dressy casual look!

Thank you Caitlin!
Oh my goodness I love this whole outfit so much! Anything that is covered in glitter, or sparkle is my fave. Super cute.
