Spring’s Hottest Bag + New Color Combinations

First off – Happy International Women’s Day to all you absolutely amazing women out there.

Before I dive in, I wanted to share a few of my favorite female run businesses with you, as well as a list of items to donate to women’s shelters, since there are many women less fortunate than ourselves.

I am a happy supporter of K-DEER, shop compliment., Gigi New York, Alice and Wonder, twelve TEN, Natalie Borton, clyde’s // rebirth and fitdesignbyannie – just to name a few. Also, here is a list of 12 items that really make a difference for women living in shelters.

Secondly – If you follow any fashion related accounts on social media then you’ve probably seen this Cult Gaia bamboo bag. It sold out already on ShopBop but I’m guessing it will restock in the next few weeks. It is still available here! I actually snagged mine last fall because I had a feeling it would blow up. (You can see how I’ve styled it previously here). I love that it’s lightweight and neutral, making it the perfect finishing touch for any outfit this summer. The shape and handle design, along with the bamboo, set it apart from your standard leather or faux leather bag. I plan on using mine frequently this summer, so hopefully you all won’t get too sick of it.

I originally saw these ASOS heels in the March People Style Watch issue, and snagged them on sale on President’s Day. As someone who NEVER used to wear red, I’m finding myself loving how it looks paired with shades of blue. [See recent red + blue outfits here, here, here and here]

I knew I had plenty of blue in my closet to style with these heels, so I reached for an old Forever 21 top (last seen here) and a pleated Banana Republic skirt (last seen here + here).
