As much as I hate to publicly admit that, it’s true. I haven’t exactly been the most enjoyable human to be around this past week or so, as the stress of moving again finally caught up with me. Half the time I do it to myself, making to-do lists for the day that no one could conquer (then getting frustrated when its half completed), and other times its just life. When I’m REALLY stressed, things start to consume me. I’m easily irritable, have even less patience than normal, and struggle to focus. I know this about myself, which means I can work to make it better, and I am definitely less of a lunatic moving this time around. Last year I was terrified to move, and probably broke down in tears 3 times a week for the month leading up to it. So far we’ve had no tears (whoop!), but I’ve been cranky and impatient toward the guys (sorry!).
We have a few days left here, ands since Monday night I’ve been really focusing on enjoying them, stressing less, and letting things go (easier said than done of course). On today’s agenda is the Malibu Wine Safari that we re-scheduled from March, and tomorrow is a day trip to the Flower Fields and San Diego. So here’s to deep breaths and knowing it will all get done 🙂
PS. We shot this outfit in front of the lagoon of our hotel in Santa Barbara that I mentioned Monday. I’m loving the contrast of the leaves with my darker look.
PPS. These are my favorite jeans – size down one but they are soft + glorious ladies!
Happy Hump Day Y’all!
Thanks for following along.

I love that purse! I’ve been seeing ones like it all over the blog/Insta world. So cute!
I’m with you (as you know …) on not liking myself sometimes. I tend to do the “fake it until you make it” which doesn’t always work, but at least I’m trying. And why does stress have to literally take over every part of our life?! Give yourself a littttttle bit of a break, though. You’re world is basically being flipped upside down. You’re allowed to be cranky and cry from time-to-time.
Can’t wait to hear about San Diego! Ben and I want to go their in September!
