Finding a pair that fits, isn’t see through, and doesn’t cost you a fortune can seem impossible. So, when beginning the search for white jeans, I always start at stores where I own and love their regular denim. My current favorite pair of jeans is the Modern Skinny Ankle Jean from Ann Taylor, so when they released a white version of the same pair in the spring, you bet I snagged them.
And don’t get me wrong, I love the look of white jeans, but they are never as flattering as dark wash denim. I don’t have a better way to say this so I’ll be blunt, but I think the crotch of white denim looks awkward. In order to combat the awkwardness, and attempt to make them more flattering, I’ve been trying to pair slightly longer tops with them. [So far it seems to be working] I wore an almost identical version of this outfit a few weeks ago (except with my Old Navy zebra tank instead of the feathers), and I’m happy with how both turned out.
Apparently I have a thing for white denim and black tops, because I found this similar outfit in the archives and would still wear it today. (I actually own the shoes, clutch, necklace and top still!)
Thanks for following along!
