I have been trying to publish this post for about a week, but life keeps getting in the way haha. Electric Forest was a blast last weekend, but between that, working, coaching swim meets and applying for jobs, I feel like there aren’t enough hours in the day. I’m about to coach a swim meet so I’ll keep this short + sweet today.
I’ve wrote about this topic before, but you do not have to sacrifice personal style if you work in an office. While you may need to modify or adjust based on the dress code, there are plenty of ways to let your personality shine through while still adhering to your company’s dress code. Some of my favorite ways to upgrade my office style are:

patterns
- printed pants, blazers and shoes are all appropriate ways to add a little more spice to your otherwise simple outfits

accessories
- add scarves, earrings, statement necklaces or bracelets to basic dresses (like this one)

bright colors
- instead of a black blazer try pink, or swap out that blue button down for something brighter
