As a Midwest girl, I love those summer days where its 65 degrees and rainy (every once in a while). Those chilly summer days are perfect for curling up with a good book (or netflix) and taking a nap. Surprisingly, rain was something I actually missed when living in Cali. We’ve had a few so far this summer and they’re amazing. After sweating in 80+ temps for weeks at a time sometimes its nice to need a sweatshirt…any other Midwesterners agree with me?
I found this sweater at Gap a while back + used my rewards to snag it, knowing it will work well for the fall as well as the spring. And while it may not be the most flattering item I’ve ever worn, its darn cozy.

Such a cute look! If I tried to wear a sweater here, I am pretty sure I would have a heat stroke. The high today is 97 and the heat index is 106!! But you look adorable and I am jealous of your weather!
