Hey friends, Happy Friday!
Today I wanted to do a Friday Five post – simply sharing 5 (good) things from this week.
1.) Driving Miss Norma
If you remember – I mentioned reading Driving Miss Norma in June. If not, you can read about it here. My mom LOVED the book and was the one that introduced me, so when we found out that they would be speaking in Grand Rapids during ArtPrize* we decided we would have to go! If you’re unfamiliar with ArtPrize – “it is an open, independently organized international art competition which takes place for 19 days each fall in Grand Rapids, Michigan.” This was the 9th year and it just keeps getting bigger. Anyway, my mom and I went to their talk + book signing and got to meet them and the dog Ringo (as you can see below). It was really laid back and she was SO happy. If anyone local wants to borrow my copy of the book – let me know!
2.) This SNL skit made me laugh SO HARD. enjoy!
I was just babysitting kids who have an Alexa, and when I saw this pop on Facebook it was too good.
