The versatility of floral outerwear

I’m a sucker for a good floral print (specifically in the form of a bomber jacket it appears…based on this floral jacket outfit from last summer and this look from last winter). While some people tend to stay away from”loud” patterns like florals, I find them highly versatile + easy to pair with other patterns (especially stripes – like I styled it back in June!) . This bomber jacket is from Alice + Wonder and no longer available, but I’ve linked a handful of other fun florals below.

Looking back through blog archives, florals stand out to me as a pattern I consistently love. Remember this floral moto jacket I couldn’t get enough of in 2014? And let’s not forget the full floral suit from Banana Republic I remixed throughout 2016.

To me, the best part (and why I continue to purchase floral jackets) is that I love and wear them year after year. Every one from previous posts is still in my closet, and now that the weather is cooling down, they’ll be making more appearances on here and my Instagram.
