Happy Hump Day!
I spoke about this on my Instastories this morning, but I truly feel like I am busier now than when I was working full time. Even though I’m working less hours per week, I’m running all over the city to different meetings, jobs and interviews and it feels like craziness sometimes. I’m really hoping to get my job situation figured out in the next 7-10 days here, so keep your fingers crossed for me [please!]
Anyway, when Devin and I were shooting this look a few weeks ago, he told me that I need new jeans because apparently I wear this Zara pair too frequently… (thanks Devin!) But really, I find myself reaching for them all the time because they’re simple, stylish and comfortable. It’s easy to throw on a plain tee, sneakers and a jacket and call it a day. When I ordered them last fall, I didn’t really know what to expect. I’d never worn Zara denim, and never imagined myself loving them as much as I do. [Sidenote: I did go up one size from my usual because Zara is euro sizing – so if you’re interested in their pants keep that in mind]. Unfortunately they’re no longer available, but I did find a few other pairs of paint splattered jeans + linked them below!
Be prepared though, you will 100% receive comments and questions asking if you bought them covered in paint or did it yourself haha. If you’re crafty (not me) I think it would be cool to DIY a pair yourself. Have any of you tried that? Let me know.
