my thoughts on job hunting ^^^^^

It’s probably obvious I’ve been struggling to blog lately. At this point I’m barely getting one post up per week and I’d say the quality is lacking. It’s not that I don’t want to blog, I do. I feel like I have SO many different thoughts going through my head and I would love nothing more than to straighten them out and share them with you all, but I can’t seem to do that right now. Blogging often takes a backseat when other parts of my life are busier, and I think part of the reason I’m struggling is the lack of consistency in my schedule. The job situation finally got settled today, so that will hopefully help with getting my blogging back on track. For now I will be one of the managers at the LOFT I’ve been working at and the assistant coach of a middle school swim team. I would’ve never guessed thats where I would end up this fall, but I’m looking forward to taking on a new role with a wonderful group of women. (I have A LOT of thoughts on jobs/job hunting/how certain jobs are viewed, but I’m going to save those for another day).

As evident by my choice of shoes – Devin and I shot this pictures back in September (I think). It was one of those lovely 85 degree fall days that seem so like a distant memory. I’m not going to lie – I’m a bit nervous for winter since I was off the hook pretty much all last year. Luckily I used my rewards at Old Navy to snag this beauty of a coat, so I am almost ready (still need to find my gloves!) Yes, I look ridiculous wearing it and no, I don’t care. It is so warm and cozy.
