This probably won’t come as a shocker, but I’m a huge fan of Old Navy’s activewear line. (I actually wore this exact outfit to teach spin Wednesday morning!). Over the years I have found that their leggings + crops hold up really well and maintain their tightness, even after me washing + drying them.
As much as I love lululemon and Athleta, I don’t want to shell out that much for leggings I am going to sweat all over. You may disagree with me, and that’s all good, but I would rather spend my money on real clothes and not activewear. Plus, it appears I’m really into floral leggings, as I wear each of these pairs (cropped pair // floral full length for $17 ) at least once a week.
As far as fit – I am short with a short torso, so the “mid-rise” fit actually hits right around my belly button, and the “high rise” fit ends up being WAY too high. I know a few of my taller friends feel the same way as well, so if you’re new to shopping there I would recommend trying on a few pairs of leggings in store before ordering.
Majority of the leggings are made of a polyester and spandex blend, but the percentages can differ between them making some feel heavier/thicker than others. Along with leggings, Old Navy active has joggers and casual pants as well. I recently snagged this pair of cropped pants + they are beyond comfortable. They look nice enough that you could dress them up, and I wore them to work yesterday with a tee, denim jacket and glitter sneakers. I also own a good amount of their tank tops. I go between sizes XS and S depending on fit, so I would say its all true to size.
Unfortunately I have never had luck with their sport bras, but I know plenty of people who have. Anyway, Old Navy is currently running 25% off your online order (no code needed) so make sure to check out their activewear! If you have any affordable activewear brands you love make sure to let me know in the comments below. 🙂

I’m hit or miss with Old Navy’s workout line. I’ve had some good tops from there, and a couple of pairs of leggings that have been decent, but they just don’t seem to hold up over time for me. I spend so much time bouncing from studio to gym to personal training to real life though, so I’m hard on my workout clothes! Fun fact – if you can prove you’re a certified instructor, you can get a 20% discount at Lululemon and 25% at Athleta! This is how I rationalize my purchases there, haha.
I totally get it. I do have my fitpro card at athleta that gets 30% off full price in store – and I do have some items from there. I definitely need to get signed up at Lulu though!
