the leopard mules I can’t stop wearing

Lizzie and I shot this look when I was in San Francisco at the end of February, and I had every intention of sharing these photos before we left for the Bahamas, but as you can see, it didn’t happen. I was chatting with Annie last night asking if “it” ever gets easier (mainly referencing fitness + nutrition, but life as well), and we came to the conclusion that everyone has their good and their not so good times. And then she told me my life was crazy so it may not get easier for me for a while. And I decided I would miss the craziness when I get old + boring haha.

Anyway, what I really wanted to talk about today was this outfit, although I know I am way overdue for a life update on here. Being the nosy person I am, I love reading other people’s life updates, so I’ll work on it.

But back to the outfit – I first shared these Sam Edelman leopard mules back in August (see that look here) and I’ve pretty much been wearing them 2x a week since then. I love them so much I actually bought a second pair a few months ago (on major sale!) that I plan on breaking in next fall [I promise they’re THAT good]. As someone who believes leopard is a neutral, I love having a comfortable and stylish pair of leopard shoes that can go with pretty much anything. So far they’ve been featured on here with a skirt, overalls, white jeans, dress pants and now today’s distressed denim.

Since transitioning out of an office and into retail management, there are a good amount of shoes I can no longer wear because my day to day now involves 8 non-stop hours on my feet. I’ve had a hard time finding cute shoes that I can survive in all day, which is probably why these mules are now looking a bit rough. So, if you have any recommendations for stylish + comfortable shoes for people with narrow feet – help your girl out!
