Recently, my friend Natalie and I had the opportunity to attend CRUSH 2018, a fundraiser hosted by Reserve Wine + Food, that benefits the Children’s Leukemia Foundation of Michigan.
As someone who loves getting dressed up, I naturally jump at any chance to pretend I’m fabulous on a Thursday evening!
I’ve actually attended an event at Reserve before, so I knew they would do an amazing job. If you’re local and haven’t been there yet I would highly recommend doing so. Reserve is located on the corner of Monroe and Lyon downtown, right by the Amway. They actually have 3 floors, and the cutest second story patio nestled between two buildings.
Megan, their community outreach coordinator, was beyond welcoming and continually checked up on us, and Rob, a bartender who has been with them since they opened 8 years ago (!) knew more about alcohol than I could’ve ever imagined.
I’m wearing this dress from 2016 with my favorite leopard clutch.
^^^ look at this babe! She’s rocking this dress and this purse from last year.
The evening was a “strolling dinner” and chefs from local restaurants created small plate and wine pairings. We loved being able to wander and snack our way through the evening!
Overall we had a great time, and you bet I loved the miniature bundt cake (from Nothing Bundt Cakes) that we received as we left. If you’re local, have you been to Reserve? Let me know!
Big thanks to Rob, Megan and the rest of the Reserve team!
xo, Maddy
