Mural Hunting

Currently Grand Rapids is growing like crazy (at least it feels that way). Houses are selling SO fast, new restaurants, bars, fitness studios and local shops seem to be constantly popping up and there is no shortage of shows to attend (no matter what you’re into). I do really love living here, and am happy to see the city continue to develop.

It’s a great community to be a part of, and we *almost* always eat local (other than my Chipotle and Starbucks vices haha). My mom actually spent some time up here this past weekend and we ate, shopped and explored our way through tons of local spots.

Grand Rapids is a city that values art (hello Art Prize), and one thing I’ve noticed recently is the amount of murals that we’re getting. Everytime we’re out I feel like I discover a new one (well, new to me). Devin and I have made it a point to shoot at them this summer…

We’re currently on a mission to find them all (or most of them) and my hope is to create a mural guide by the fall to share on here! I posted my idea on Instagram yesterday and received some positive response – so I’ll get moving on that.

As far as this outfit goes – my dress is old from ASOS. I actually featured it on the blog back in 2015(!!!) and wore it to a wedding last summer. My earrings are from H&M last summer (last featured here) but they still make them and they’re currently available in 7 colors here!
