As I mentioned on Instagram, I really have no intentions of doing any big Black Friday shopping. I need absolutely nothing, and am working on not bringing more into my house + selling items I no longer wear.
But, because plenty of items I’ve accumulated over the past few years are still available, I figured I would share a Black Friday sale round up of pieces I can personally say I wear and love.
It’s easy to get caught up in the hustle and bustle of Black Friday because of the sales, but if you buy something on sale and never wear it, it’s still a waste of money. So instead of thinking “I should buy this because its 50% off,” try to flip your thinking to “Do I like this enough to pay full price if there wasn’t a sale?” “Is this filling a hole I’ve identified in my closet?”
Sales are great, I almost always purchase items with a discount, but don’t let them rope you into buying things you never wanted in the first place. (We’re all guilty of this!)

Without further ado, here are items I’ve purchased and would recommend:
Straight up, Old Navy is great. I know some people who rip on their quality but I have flannels, jeans and workout leggings I’ve been wearing from there since 2015, so while not everything is top quality, their pieces do hold up!
This distressed boyfriend denim jacket is my absolute favorite (requires zero breaking in), and if you’ve followed my blog for a while you’ve seen me rock plenty of Old Navy tunics and flannels. I’m a big fan of their “luxe” tees and basic v-necks as well.
I’ve had my black Rockstar sculpt skinny jeans for years + they’re still fitting well. I will say the black does start to fade after 2+ years, but I’m also that person that washes and dries my jeans…sooooo. Also, the thermal knit pajama legging is awesome – warm without being too warm!
I’m a big fan of their tank tops and find that they hold up really well (again I wash and dry almost everything). I prefer their mid-rise leggings to high-rise since I have a short torso, and I have a few full length pairs I’e had for years. The compression ones are the thicker and I will usually wear them in the winter or when I’m working out outside.
Their simple sueded pump is a comfortable height + classic fit (I’ve owned this pink pair since 2014).
I have the faux leather sneaker in white and it is definitely one of the most versatile pair of shoes I own! White leather sneakers go with everything.
Clearly I like Old Navy… haha
All of the items below I’ve shared on the blog (or Instagram) over the past two years. Some of the pieces are newer items and some are pieces they keep bringing back year after year. I stayed true to size in everything except the sweater dress – sized up in that! 🙂
I have last year’s version of these faux leather leggings and they are the most comfortable thing ever. SO warm, so cozy. I’ve been wearing them 2-3x per week to work. These distressed jeans are a fan favorite (size down one size) and this lou & grey blouse has been so versatile. Layer it under a sweater, tie it up or wear it long as a tunic.
I love the vintage straight denim from J.Crew – seriously my most comfortable and favorite denim.
J.Crew Factory has a ton of goodies I own the city coat (I have bright pink), sweater blazer in gray, the earmuffs + camo tee with gold specks. Stayed true to size in everything!
I’ve been raving about the move high waisted 7/8 leggings since the spring and they are the only ones I’ve been wearing lately. Plus this cozy camo pullover is amazing 🙂
