And just like that, February 2019 is in the books. The month flew by, and while it is the shortest, I generally find February to be the most mentally challenging. Not the case this year, as January was a rough month for me, but I won’t lie when I say I’m happy they’re both behind us.
I flew to DC for a long weekend last Thursday, and was so happy to get away for even a few days. without further ado. 5 things I loved this month
I wore them EVERY SINGLE DAY last month. This is not an exaggeration. They have been on my feet since February 1st! I also wrote an entire blog post about them, so yeah, I’m smitten. I didn’t expect them to get this much wear right away, but the weather doesn’t seem to be getting better. On the bright side, my cost per wear is down to $1.40 per day!
And seriously, I have received so many compliments from men and women (and many from people you’d never expect to notice).
I’m sad to report my exact pair is sold out, but this is a very similar pair by the same brand!
I ordered this Revel kit and this drill from Amazon. I love having my nails done but don’t love the repeated cost or sitting at the salon. I’ve only done it once so far, so I’m going to keep testing it out and write a blog post on it once I have the technique down!
I’ve been wearing this necklace a ton! I mentioned it in last week’s ShopBop post, but it is also available on Madewell’s site and they have 15% off today if you’re an insider (it’s free to sign up!)
Annie (my trainer) recently launched her podcast + I’ve been listening to episodes while I work and loving it. She covers more than just fitness on there – so if you’re interested in travel or entrepreneurship, check it out!
I can’t stop listening to this song!
Tell me, what are some of the things you loved this past month?

I want to know about that dip mani! I too don’t like sitting in the salon or the repeated costs. If I could do it at home… and do it well…
And I’m loving Annie’s podcast! It’s so good!
Yes! I’ll do a post on it in a few weeks here once I feel like I have all the tips and tricks down 🙂
