If you care about fashion at all (which I’m assuming you do if you read here…well that or you’re related to me), then you’ve seen snakeskin print popping up EVERYWHERE. Personally I like it, but similar to leopard print – it can easily end up looking cheap. I find that testing out a pattern with an affordable statement piece is the way to go – think a cute pair of boots, a clutch or jewelry. As you can see by these photos I disregarded my own advice and went all in with this snakeskin print dress from H&M. I never planned on wearing a dress over jeans, but I packed completely inappropriately for the weather, so I ended up layering it over the cropped flare jeans I talked all about last week.
Devin and I shot these photos a few weekends ago when I was in DC (I love that city), and this outfit was great for a day of walking, exploring + eating. The dress is really lightweight, so I’m looking forward to styling it with studded mules, a black belt + my leather jacket once it gets a tad bit warmer here.
