Good Morning! I’m back, I’m alive and if you follow me on Instagram then you may have seen I passed my NCSA CPT (personal training exam), which is great for two reasons:
1.) I’m now legit and certified
2.) I can have a social life and hobbies again because my studying is over
I didn’t share much about taking it (for fear of having to publicly admit if I failed), but now that it’s over I can breathe easier and it feels amazing.
Anyway, what I’m really here to chat about it this over the top hair pin, this outfit, and how you can mix items from different seasons to create a unique look. I actually wore this outfit about a month ago to an influencer event that The Lemon Bowl hosted at Irie Kitchen
[Please note I managed to not spill on my white skirt the entire night!]
The event was in April, a very random month weather wise for the Midwest, so I loved the idea of pairing the white denim summer skirt with the black faux leather jacket. It ended up being a great mix of seasons, and I added my Emerson Fry tee (so soft) and accessorized with clear mules from Zara (old, but similar here) and my Staud bag.
Sadly I hadn’t purchased my “DAMN” pin when the event happened, but since we shot it after the fact, it seemed like the perfect hair accessory to pair with this look. I’ve officially decided that I could live happily ever after in some variation of denim and a graphic tee, so this is right up my alley.
