hello, hello, hello! I shared on Instagram last month my excitement for my pink short suit (that I wore to my cousin’s wedding a few weeks ago). I’ve wanted a two piece suit for years, and finally snagged one with my ShopBop credit in July. I try to always think about the versatility of the item when I add something new to my closet, and with this I knew I had *almost* endless styling options. Today I’m sharing 6 different ways to style this suit for summer: two with the full suit, two with the shorts and two with the blazer. Keep scrolling to see more!
First up, the full suit. The above outfit (with the white bodysuit) is what I wore to the wedding. I LOVE the masculine vibe of a suit paired with feminine pink and accessories. I’ve found that bodysuits work really well with the suit, since it has an oversized fit, and there needs to be a balance in the proportions. Because it has shorts, I didn’t want to go too high with the heels (not that I really wear anything that high anymore), but both pairs of sandals have lower, chunky heels, which elongated my legs without feeling too club-esque. I kept my hair down, and opted for a statement necklace instead of earrings. This might just be me, but I feel like when I have a structured blazer that I prefer my hair down…I think it goes back to the masculine/feminine pairing. I’m curious – what do we think of the suit?
For the next set of looks I styled just the shorts! As the weather starts to cool down I like to pair sweaters and shorts, and this duo, with the white sneakers and bamboo bag, still feels like summer but also offers a bit more coverage. You could easily add the denim jacket on top of the sweater as well if it gets too chilly. Second, you may remember this H&M bodysuit (I’ve shared it here and here), it felt like a fun pattern to pair with the shorts, but because it’s so bold, I kept the sandals and bag neutral.
Last but not least, two very different ways to style this pink blazer. Since some of my clothing is still packed away, I had to improvise with this scarf instead of the original belt I wanted to use (this lion’s head belt was my original idea), but I actually like how it turned out. The midi dress + blazer combo is something I’d wear for work or an event. Appropriate, comfortable and unique. The shorts + sneaks combo is how I’d wear this on the weekend, but once fall rolls around I’m sure I’ll be rocking this blazer with jeans and boots as well.
There we go, one suit, six different outfits. Maybe I’ll even take the blazer and style it a few more ways for fall. But tell me, which one is your favorite?
Thanks for stopping by!

Thank you! I feel like it’s the easiest to wear as well 🙂
Love this set – I’m not sure I could pull off pink, but you sure do!
