#99daysofsummerstyle
Days 98 & 99:
Days 95, 96 & 97:
Days 92, 93 & 94:
from L-R. Clearly a very casual weekend for me.
Aerie brought back a similar version of this sweatshirt this year but the camo sold out really quick. I did link the olive green below
Saturday morning we hit up the farmer’s market in what I refer to as my “soccer mom skirt” aka a REALLY old lululemon running skort haha.
Again, not exciting outfits, but real life nonetheless – super old joggers from Old Navy’s active line, an oversized Aerie tee and my favorite sandals
Days 89, 90 & 91:
from L-R.
Not my best, not my worst, but this was a rough day and just grabbed two things from my closet.
I love this dress! I waited for months until it went on sale at Boden and I’m so glad I got it. Love the contrasting pattern and the fit. To me it feels like an updated classic.
Took the blazer from my short suit and made it office casual with straight denim, a graphic tee and leopard mules.
Days 86, 87 & 88:
Days 83, 84 & 85:
Days 80, 81 & 82:
forgot to take a photo of Day 81! pretty sure I just wore a swimsuit haha because it was Labor Day.
Days 77, 78 & 79:
Days 74, 75 & 76:
Days 71, 72 & 73:
Days 68, 69 & 70:
Days 65, 66 & 67:
from L-R.
Saturday night I kept it simple with a black tank and skirt with some fun accessories (all old).
Sunday was filled with all the not so fun adult things, so real clothes really weren’t necessary.
Monday I brought out the bird pants (old from Loft). They’re lightweight & comfy and feel like I’m wearing pajamas (aka the perfect way to ease back into the work week).
Days 62, 63 & 64:
from L-R.
It was chilly in the morning this past week so I took it as an opportunity to bring back the leopard blazer (I’m excited to style it all fall and winter).
Thursday I repeated this mustard and emerald green outfit from last summer because I still love the unique combination of colors.
On Friday, I went very casual with my favorite J.Crew straight jeans (so comfy), a graphic tee and mules.
Days 59, 60 & 61:
from L-R. Lizzie and I rocking our fav AGOLDE shorts (literally all weekend). This spotted bikini is on sale and from ASOS. I loved it! Sadly Lizzie’s neon top is sold out but I linked her kimono below!
A *very* stylish travel outfit of a men’s dog tank and leggings. #style
And lastly, I forgot to take a photo Monday, but it was pretty much the same as this outfit I wore in April. Sometimes simple is the best.
Days 56, 57 & 58:
from L-R.
These pants are old from my retail days at LOFT. I don’t know if I love them anymore, so this wear was a trial. Paired it with a simple sweater tank and bold necklace from Anthro.
This photo was taken at 4:15am at the airport..hence the hat and glasses. I snagged this tie-dye sweatshirt from Gap for $3 with rewards so I thought it would be fun to wear this fall.
Lastly, this fun but so cheap suit from Pretty Little Thing. I ordered it on a whim and while it was great for Splash House, I truly do not know how long it will hold up (not my best purchase ever).
Days 53, 54 & 55:
from L-R.
An all white look with Madewell jeans, and Target earrings, top + mules.
Rewore the flower earrings and paired them with an old Loft jumpsuit and old Banana Republic sandals.
This shirt dress is also old + from Loft, and I love wearing it because of how lightweight and comfortable it is. I tied a scarf in my bun (#dirtyhair) and added my simple Madewell leather sandals
Days 50, 51 & 52:
from L-R.
Aritzia kindly gifted me a few items, including both the black and white bodysuits I wore in Colorado. I paired the black with an old statement necklace from Anthropologie and the best impulse purchase skirt from American Eagle for Friday night’s rehearsal dinner.
For the wedding Saturday I layered the white bodysuit with my pink short suit from ShopBop and another Anthropologie statement necklace.
And lastly, we hiked at Lory State Park before leaving town Sunday night. Wearing Athleta (no surprise haha).
Days 47, 48 & 49:
from L-R.
I’ve been a bit of a slacker with work style..
An old black thrifted dress with some fun sandals (wanted to wear my palm earrings but could only find one #movingproblems. In the middle, an easy favorite of stripes, leopard and denim. All old pieces I love and wear frequently!
And lastly, diving into tie dye a little bit here – I had a reward at Gap so I opted for this fun sweatshirt..don’t love how this turned out but it was worth a shot.
Days 44, 45 & 46:
from L-R.
I will never tire of a leather and lace combo – this top is an old favorite from Shopbop – loved it paired with the leopard clutch and simple sandal.
My “home girl” tank is from Cloth & Cabin (they’re local) but
you can check their website out here
.
This skirt is old from the Who What Wear collection at Target but there are SO many leopard midi skirts available now. I kept it simple but playful with these
Zara mules,
a black tank and a pop of color with
this (sale!) Anthro necklace
.
Days 41, 42 & 43:
from L-R.
the Zara dress again for work – this time more casual with sneaks.
Decided to get more creative with patterns and pair snakeskin boots with polka dots – not sure if I’m totally sold but it was worth a try 🙂
Last but not least, a very casual Friday in this Old Navy tank and Madewell jeans. This tank is a years old but its something I always reach for. I love the longer length and how it can be tied up.
Days 38, 39 & 40:
From L-R.
Our last day up north called for my favorite leggings from Athleta and Chacos (no surprise).
Then back to work, with Monday’s bright white look + a very casual Tuesday. This peplum top is probably 6-7 years old from Forever 21 haha.
Days 35, 36 & 37:
from L-R. An old neutral(ish) LOFT dress I keep around because its easy to wear and I like the muted leopard.
Days 36 and 37 were spent traveling to and exploring the Upper Peninsula of Michigan so it was very laid back and casual. Chacos are my go to sandals for any summer outdoor activities.
Days 32, 33 & 34:
Okay, first off I actually never took a photo for day 32 because I wore my pajamas all day and all we did was move…so this a better stand in haha (some of my favorite Athleta pieces).
This jumpsuit I’ve had since 2016, but my best friend had been borrowing it since 2017 and I truly forgot I owned it (happy to have it back!).
And last but not least, the Target camp shirt makes another appearance – so lightweight and versatile!
Days 29, 30 & 31:
from L-R.
An old Banana Republic tank (linked similar below) paired with the best thrifted Madewell jeans + sandals from last summer.
My mom and I at her casual birthday dinner. Knotted an old Target tank top with a denim skirt, simple sandals and clutch (linked below).
This LOFT piece is actually a romper (built in shorts for the win) and I linked the same piece in different prints below (mine is old!)
Days 26, 27 & 28:
Apparently I really loved skirts this week? L-R. An OLD J.crew skirt with my new favorite camp shirt + a pop of pink. The lemon skirt is 5 years old but I wear it every year – paired it with some thrifted Joie wedges and my old lady shell from Zara 🙂
And last, a casual Thursday outfit with an old J.Crew tee and a current white denim skirt (linked below!)
Days 23, 24 & 25:
If you’re local, or just LOVE Grand Rapids –
you can shop the tee here!
Otherwise, most of these pieces are still available even though they are older. A simple denim skirt paired with a graphic tee & snakeskin booties was perfect for the weekend. This Z Supply midi dress is like wearing pajamas…so it was a great choice for Sunday brunch. And lastly, this
ASOS polka dot cutie is on sale for $20
(wearing a size 6!) and the sleeves can be worn off the shoulder or like I’m wearing it above.
Days 20, 21 & 22:
from L-R. An old LOFT dress with colorful Old Navy mules. My favorite red floral bodysuit was about as patriotic as I was willing to get for the 4th of July. It was a nice LONG weekend, so I kept it pretty casual, pulling out this Old Navy romper and blush espadrilles from a few summers ago.
Day 19:
When J.Crew released this Great Lakes tee I couldn’t not get it haha. My shoes are OLD (from 2013) and my skirt is probably from 2016, so I’m trying to mix and match older and newer items for a fresh look.
Day 18:
This Target t-shirt felt appropriate for the first day back to work after Electric Forest (and not enough sleep). Sadly it is no longer available!
Days 15, 16 & 17:
Music festival style is definitely different than my normal, and my whole goal was to look cute without overheating!
Day 14:
Day 13:
An old dress and old sandals I never thought to pair together before – but now I’m wondering why I haven’t!?
Day 12:
This dress is actually from Zara and is sold out currently, but I linked similar below!
Day 11:
A very casual outfit for an active Sunday. Love the Athleta tank and shorts and the combination of the bright colors!
Day 10:
Clearly not a great photo, but this romper from Lou & Grey (old) is SO comfortable and I reach for it all the time in the summer. I linked similar options below!
Day 9:
Day 8:
Day 7:
This dress is a few years old but surprisingly from A&F. I linked two other affordable black eyelet dresses below!
Day 6:
I styled this Farm Rio dress as a skirt because the neckline is definitely not work appropriate. These luxe tees from Old Navy feel amazing + wash and wear so well!
Day 5:
Everything I’m wearing is old but I’ve linked very similar style below!
Day 4:
My fanny pack and cropped hoodie are both from my friend’s shop –
Covet Leisure (check them out!)
I tried to link similar below but you can visit their site to shop directly.
Day 3:
My Madewell Jeans are thrifted, but I’ve linked a similar pair below (style = slim boyjean), and my sweatshirt is old from a boutique in California.
Day 2:
My sweater tank is from Target this year but is sold out online (so check your local stores!) I linked a similar LOFT one below. These are the same thrifted Madewell jeans as above 🙂
Day 1:
I am a fan of mostly cotton denim, so I was thrilled when these Old Navy jeans were 99% cotton. I did cut an inch or so off the hem myself and add a side slit. Both shirt + mules are old but I linked similar below. Headband is current from H&M but I can’t find it online.
